The composition of NEKTON-Nektar-Plus is oriented towards individual components of the hummingbirds‘ high requirements for nutrients and substances, where at the same time, NEKTON-Nektar-Plus has also become an excellent food mixture for sensitive sunbirds. The carbohydrates‘ composition reproduces over nectar which is the preferred source of nourishment for hummingbirds and sunbirds and thus supplies these animals‘ metabolism with energy. Supplemented by vitamins, proteins, fats, major and trace elements, a balanced mixture emerges which contains all essential elements for these birds. We recommend the NEKTON feeding tube for feeding, which has been specially developed for NEKTON-Nektar-Plus. This ensures an extended shelf life of the important food components. The lling quantity of 40 ml is suffcient even to provide larger species with a single feeding per day. Under no circumstances should open feeding bowls be used, as this makes contaminations of these animals‘ feathers unavoidable.
