If you haven’t already, now is the time to be booking yourself a ticket, flights and accommodation, as the world female basketball championship coincides with the Loro Parque conference, the island of Tenerife is going to be a flutter of activity!
We are finalising bookings now, so please let us know ASAP if you would like to join us.
- First stop:
Jurong Bird Park. One of the most renowned bird sanctuaries with some of the largest free-flying aviaries in the world.

- Second stop:
Madrid, Spain. We will tour through parts of Spain and into Portrugal. Visiting architectural icons, dining on fine food and immersing ourselves in the Spainish culture. Of course, we will also be visiting aviaries and local birdlife habitats. We will be extremely fortunate to have a local Aviculturalist guide us through their home country prior to the Conference at Loro Parque in Tenerife.
Transport will be dependent on the final number attending the tour, with options of hire car, mini van or bus.
At the conference in Tenerife, there will be around 800 people from across the globe attending, all of whom have a great interest in the world of parrots. We will have an opportunity to see Loro Parque's Zoo, and a behind the scenes look at the breeding facility. There will also be presentations to absorb and socialising to enjoy.
